Relax Lite is a guided meditation app that offers breathing exercises to encourage mindfulness. Voted as the Top Mind & Body App of 2014 by Leading Doctors, it can be useful in a variety of ways, including for the management of pain and stress reduction.

 

Overview

Relax Lite has two approaches to promote relaxation, including breathing or meditation, to help reduce stress and anxiety in your life. You can take the built-in recommended course or switch to classic mode and enjoy other breathing patterns that are equipped with customized timing. You can also select the music that is most soothing for you in order to reduce your likelihood of having migraines and overall, to help you relax.

Breathing or Meditation

The app offers two options: either guided breathing or meditation. Whether you want to focus on your breathing or restful mindfulness exercises to reach relaxation, you get to choose which better suits you at the moment. If you choose the breathing preference, you’ll enjoy musical cues to let you know when to switch between phases of breathing. The guided meditation includes 8-minute sessions that target different body parts. These features are excellent ways to reduce stress, anxiety, and migraines, lower heart rate and blood pressure, and improve your quality of sleep.

 

Choose Your Music

Since music is conducive to promoting relaxation, the developers of Relax Lite knew it would be optimal if you could choose the music that best relaxes you, on your own. You know which music and themes are most soothing to you, so take advantage and choose your personalized sounds of stress relief!
